Pros

Laser focused on making sure the company is happy.
Great services that really do improve the physician organization when both organizations buy-in to the MedSynergies model.

Cons

Need to be more honest with ourselves about areas for improvement. There is much progress in this area in the last 60-90 days.

Advice to Management

Said it in the "Cons" section. As the company continues to grow, we need to continue to refine our way of doing things to properly address the growth.

    Pros

Decent base pay. Covered garage, deli, small gym, safe area. Opportunity to work with honest, professional client base who actually appreciate your talent and knowledge. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the leadership at Medsynergies. Lots of open positions, is this a pro?

    Cons

The c-suite leadership and their side kicks are sorely lacking any hint of the core qualifications needed to turn around this organization. The leaders continue to treat this as their pet project instead of a multi-million dollar organization. With each new client comes more pressure for the over-worked and unappreciated workforce who carries the load. It is painful to watch the antics of those in power and see the lack of respect for clients and employees alike. Employees begin on a pedestal with the expectation of perfection and 24/7 availability partnered with exactly zero support from leadership. With the first perceived misstep, that same shining star falls to be bottom of the barrel and is publicly castigated by management. Sit back, grab your popcorn and watch leadership shout to the hillsides about their impeccable moral standards, while your loyal and hard working peer is walked out the door for some perceived wrong. Can that many bad apples get through the gates at Medsynergies? It has happened one too many times and at some point clients, investors and others will take notice. Certainly the other shoe will drop if those who have the ability to turn over the c-level leadership do not take action. If you are considering a position within this organization, even if you are desperate, think twice. It is true, new college grads and imported interns from Ireland are all the rage here. If it were my kid, I would pay them NOT to take the job. There are some life lessons no one needs or deserves to learn. Seasoned professionals, see through the smoke and mirrors and trust your gut. Just say no.

    Advice to Management

Let's do a level skip and speak straight to the investors and those clients who own a big chunk of the partnerships. Take some action to protect your own interests and make the obvious change that will turn around this ticking time bomb.

    Pros

Company concept is great, good opportunity for some one earlier in their career to get a wide variety of experience in a short period of time.

    Cons

Legacy senior leadership is not qualified to grow the business into what it has the potential to be ... they like the "idea" of bringing employees with a high degree of experience, then fire them when the don't fit the mold. This leads to a fear based mentality amongst employees. I have seen very qualified individuals literally walk out the door with no other job lined up because they simply can't or won't deal with senior leadership.

Constant re-organization, you may change managers multiple times and sometimes you aren't even informed. Senior leadership tends to "try" organizational changes out rather than doing any planned re-alignments.

If you are very young in your career, this might be a place where you could get a start and get some good experience (they like hiring new college grads because they are cheap). However, if you are a professional with a variety of options, avoid this place like the plaque otherwise you'll likely be job hunting again in 6 months.

    Advice to Management

Replace your legacy "C" levels execs who prefer to bully employees rather than manage them.
