Medco Health – “not the best place to be ”

The pay is fairly decent compared to corporate jobs elsewhere. They have an option to work from home. They are doing pretty good in this economy so most likely jobs will be stable.
Cons
If you are not management, you only get 2 weeks off and I know that's standard everywhere else but they don't give you off Christmas eve or New Year's eve, or the day after Thanksgiving. There are only 6 company holidays! And that may seem reasonable but with the amount of stress you take on, 2 weeks a year is not enough (usually people work 12 hour days). Management doesn't know how to talk to employees and no one wants to do anything about it. Management is incompetent and its surprising how some of those people got their jobs (probably because they know how to push people around). Definitely not a very professional, friendly atmosphere.
Advice to Senior Management
Management need to take classes on interpersonal skills. Medco needs to realize that they need to allow some balance of work/life, honestly is it going to hurt to give employs off the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve? Extremely cheap company.
