Former Employee – worked at Medco Health

Pros – They treat their Account Managment team with respect. Senior Leadership knows that Medco cannot keep their clients if the Account teams don't build good relationships.

Cons – The Senior Team has cut back on any client trips unless they deem they are vital to the cleint relationship. They no longer reimburse Blackberry service unless you are a NAE or higher. However, Medco still expects you to work 50 -60 hour weeks even if you are traveling. Therefore, you must work late into the night at the hotel. Medco took away retirement benefits in Febuary 2011, but increased company matching to 11 percent on their 401K. They have had a series of 3 job cutbacks in Jan-Feb 2011 as Medco was "scaling for growth".

Advice to Senior Management – It is time to start rewarding your employees that have stayed faithful and have given their lives to Medco. They are many people that have sacrificed their families and health in order to try and keep Medco profitable.
