Current Employee – been working at Medical Protective

Pros – berkshire hathaway financial strength, full country presence, many pleasant coworkers, strong financial ratings help set company apart from competitors, peace of mind for policyholders

Cons – multiple, redundant levels of management oversight, only one way to things, no empowerment, no ideas fostered or allowed to bubble up, some managers and above are incompetent, culture of fear prevents agents from giving constructive feedback because they might get cut off. Management telling workers multiple stories about "Warren" gets really old really fast. It's a job but it's not a place where you can feel proud to be working.

Advice to Senior Management – Top management could start matching what they do with what they say, everytime they tell us one thing and don't do it or do something else thney lose more credibility
