I have been working at Medical Staffing Network part-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Get to pick how many hours/what shifts you want to work per week. The pay is usually ABOVE what you would make at the facility itself. If you do a great job then yes you will get more assignments, but if your a slacker then well you know....

Cons

yes at times work will be slow, but if you are willing to travel a little more, then you may get more assignments.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

none, just keep doing what your doing, don't pay attention to the "bad" reviews, its not an easy job to run a staffing service I'm sure. But THANK YOU for all you do!

I have been working at Medical Staffing Network full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great group of people to work with, never have to worry about balancing life/ work.

    Cons

Company is EXTREMELY disorganized and the nurses are ultimately the ones who pay for all of the chaos.

There have have been no raises across the board and a lot of finger pointing. Management is very unprofessional - and there is no structure. It is extremely hard to get everyone on the same page yet alone to get an answer from anyone.

401k has not been matched for 2012.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Send someone undercover into each department -maybe then you'll see the real issues holding back your company that your employees deal with daily.
