Current Employee - Certified Nurse Assistant in Illinois City, IL

Pros

Get to pick how many hours/what shifts you want to work per week. The pay is usually ABOVE what you would make at the facility itself. If you do a great job then yes you will get more assignments, but if your a slacker then well you know....

Cons

yes at times work will be slow, but if you are willing to travel a little more, then you may get more assignments.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

none, just keep doing what your doing, don't pay attention to the "bad" reviews, its not an easy job to run a staffing service I'm sure. But THANK YOU for all you do!

    Pros

    Can't think of any. Sorry.

    Cons

Chaotic, yet deadening, depressing place to work. Management is incapable, hysterical, actually screaming at people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You seem to be wholly disconnected from the workplace, the business at hand, or the people who work for you. Know your business and all of its components and relationships. Until you know these things, and are of a mind to better them, you have absolutely no place in management.

This is why you're frustrating and have devolved to screaming and abuse. You don't know what you're doing or how to go about it. Management is a disaster. And I believe it absolutely must be a top down ineptitude.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee  in  Valhalla, NY
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Valhalla, NY

    Pros

They have a choice for staff to advance
If you care for people and a love to take care of him
There are some great women that help you a lot and are very nice
They make it bearable to work on the floor with you.

    Cons

The management team in Valhalla is in need of leadership training and how to talk to others. The management team is very rude to there employees they talk to them like they are children. The will talk to you any kind of way in front of anybody and not care. Last time I checked we were all grown and all would like respect. you. They are very unorganized they will send you to one unit and then pull you off of a unit. Its frustrating they will throw you around like a toy. Management will look down on you because there above you.Human Resources is a joke it's one guy and he screws up a lot of things and never owns up to his faults. Some of the regular Nurse's are disrespectful and MSN does not help there employees out when felt attacked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give raises when they are due and don't ignore employee's when they are asking.
Stop talking to your employees like they are worthless.
Care about your employees and patients more than why an employee is not wearing a certain type of scrubs.
Get over yourself and know that you are human and you are not god.
If you don't take pride in the staff you have already and treat them with respect you will lose great employee's
Take your staff in to consideration and know they are there for the patients.
