Pros

If you have a positive attitude and strong work ethic you can go far here. The company is growing and debt free, so you don't see a lot in the way of lay offs like some of the large companies in the area. The culture is very fast paced, so I have never been bored. New fitness center and remodled cafeteria,

Cons

Work life balance needs improvement. It would also be nice to have more company sponsered family events.

Advice to Management

More vacation time or flex hours would be a nice addition to helping out with work/life balance.

    Pros

    Nice cubicles, nice cafeteria with good cheap food, good tuition reimbursement.

    Cons

    Terrible 401k plan unless you are a super earner (they have a different match structure). Pay well below industry average unless you know someone or are related to someone important.

    I've heard of running lean but Medline takes it to a whole new level at the expense of employees. Employees are expected to produce unbeleivable results with almost no support until something goes wrong.

    Advice to Management

    Consider moving to a more modern management style. No quality, young employees are going to stay more than a few years when they realize they are underpaid and only get 1 to 3% raises every year. Having 2 sales reps for every corporate employee is a ridiculous ratio and turnover will only increase when poeple realize there are actually good companies to work for in the area.

    Money - After many (many) years

    Cons

    After spending most of my career here - I am always sure it is my last day. It is like being a POW.

    Advice to Management

    Shoot me. Just get it over with and shoot me.
