I have been working at Men's Wearhouse full-time (less than an year)

Pros

High earning potential in busy stores, fast advancement opportunities, very relaxed hiring process (if you interview well, you are hired), lots of little perks (parties, food provided on weekends, cash bonuses for all employees), good benefits

Cons

Retail hours (no weekends off), low commission rates, low hourly rates, lots of turnover in management, very competitive sales' floors

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bump up the commission rates or hourly rates for wardrobe consultants

I have been working at Men's Wearhouse full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Very stable company, new facilities on west side of Houston, mid-range salaries, management generally understanding of employee needs.

    Cons

Some teams stuck in pattern of "how it has always been done", no training, web teams moved to California.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

2011 changes in upper level IT management seems to have helped with innovation in certain areas, need mid-level improvements, and training.
