I worked at Men's Wearhouse full-time for more than a year

Pros

They overstaff the stores so you don't really have to work hard.

Cons

Managers are turned over twice per year. They talk a good game about caring for their employees but at the end of the day they are only out to do the same things other retailers do. Tux Rentals are the worst. It's half of your day and you make NOTHING off of it. Middle management cannot and should not be trusted. Managers dating subordintes, VP hitting on part timers. Pathetic.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop with the hippie, feel good rhetoric. You're a business. Act like one.

Overall great, however has retail hours, and unsteady flow of income.

I have been working at Men's Wearhouse full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Potential to earn great commissions. Has great benefits, and awesome training programs. Interactive Sales environment and great training. No experience needed, but it is extremely helpful if you have sales experience. The have many corporate sponsored lunches and events, and at the end of the year they through an outrageous HolidayParty.

    Cons

It is a retail store and therefore you have tough hours sometimes you have to work open to close i.e.9am-9pm, and you have to work weekends Saturdays are a must. Sometimes there are weeks with low commissions because of a less demand in the summer (June, July, August)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great job. Best Retail environment in the business.

I have been working at Men's Wearhouse part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very family oriented. When you work there, you become best friends with everyone you work with. The interaction with each other is on a constant basis as there is down time. Very lenient on working around your school schedule.

    Cons

Minimum wage for a Customer service associate. There are times where you work directly with a salesman and times where you sell on your own. In the end you give the salesman your sale and you continue to make minimum wage giving no incentive to try and sell any clothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give us some incentive on selling.
