Limited advancement opportunity, n, little social or family life(retail hours, nights ,weekends, ect.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stores are far too understaffed to handle the rapidly growing tuxedo business. Being constantly over stretched is corroding employee morale and quality customer service.

I have been working at Men's Wearhouse full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you work hard and average smarts you will do a good job, and if you do a good job you will feel appreciated. The Mens Wearhouse (TMW) does a lot to show they care. Like when they were cutting budgets a while back they made any upper people in the company say $100,000 earners and more get pay cuts and also those people had to increase the cost they spent for health care.

Compensation at my level is good but the benefits are better than I have ever heard of.

All the average employees were left alone. TMW also still does company pick nicks yearly holiday parties and even allow every store a small budget every month for meals so the store manager can basically buy one meal a month for the whole store.

    Cons

There is very little turn over and there stores are already everywhere, this is normally a pro but it makes it almost impossible to get advancement into management even if your a top employee. They try to make a friendly environment but it feels kind of like when there's no customers around everyone is in a big college party. - The biggest con was the minimal advancement chances.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I am not sure what to say Its a good company and good environment, just so many people like working here its hard to get advancements.
