    Pros

Friendly people, middle of NYC so plenty to do, nice office space, access to local and regional resources.

    Cons

Siloed management, promotions were not always merit based. Peter priniciple in middle and upper management.

    Advice to Management

Back then, I would have told them to concentrate on increasing revenue as opposed to cutting costs (reducing head count). Look at employee throughput, not just gross revenue.

    Pros

Great staff, decent pay, huge parking lot, opportunites to move up sometimes, decent lcoation, great place if you are into titles for yourself

    Cons

Huge turnaround rate, cannot move around in the company unless you are here for a year, certainly not a job for everyone, easy to get fired.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to focus on building their employees, starting from the lowest position. Stop putting up complimentary calls, for that will only breed jealousy, Lower turnaround rate, increase pay, and offer annual raises. The strongest chain is determined by it's weakest link. Do not bs new people by making them think staying is simply by working hard. Its by working hard and understanding the concepts. And definately get rid of that waiting a year to move around in the company. 6 months might be ideal. Dont pass up talent over a rule. Just because someone does not excel in one particular area does not make them unsuitable to work in other areas of the company. Talent=Money. Undiscovered talent=undiscovered money.
