Pros

Very strong training for people with little experience. You can advance your career and have a great name on your resume.

Cons

At times things can be bureaucratic. High turnover. Compensation changed right before our hire class and was not told about it until it was too late, pay your producers!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take advantage of the talent you have before someone else does.

Current Employee - Financial Advisor  in  Hartford, CT
Current Employee - Financial Advisor in Hartford, CT

    Pros

Good Base to start and you learn a lot
Great brand name, can open doors
Basically the image helps you more than anything, a prestige comes with the name that you can only get at a few other firms

    Cons

Its still a wirehouse, they are all the same. If you don't have family with money, or joining a team, there is little to no chance of succeeding. You will build up you Assets, miss hurdles, then those assets will be divided amongst the senior advisors. Rinse and repeat.
