Former Employee - Global Wealth Management Intern in San Francisco, CA

I worked at Merrill Lynch as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Lots of freedom if you know what you're doing and where you want to be. Wealth management is all about managing your own book

    Cons

Can be very little structure if you're not sure what you're looking for and want more guidance or ideas of how to move forward. Easy to get lost.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Plan for new hires and understand what you will want them to do. Communicate these goals to them early on
