I worked at Merry Maids full-time
Pros – Some of the customers GREAT and are what keeps you coming back, there are benefits for f/t employees if you can afford them, paid vacation hours for f/t, work daytime hours mostly, have atleast Sundays off.
Cons – Pay is a joke, working solo is bad idea, using your own car, not getting paid enough back for use of your own car. Management favoritism. You are not given any recognition for your hard work. This is a dead end job, they don't post open positions in office, there are no promotions.
Advice to Senior Management – Realize that the motto "You get what you pay for" is the slogan, it also applies to you. Consider giving out real life perfomance bonuses, rather then steep discounts to people that can afford this luxury. $5 Christimas....
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
