Good Job - No Growth Potential

Client Executive (Current Employee)
Bridgewater, NJ

I have been working at MetLife full-time for more than 7 years

ProsGreat work/life balance. Able to work from home during the week which helps alot. Good benefits, except for Vision. Lots of learning opportunities (webinars, seminars, clubs, etc.)

ConsNo growth unless you are a favorite. Internal recruiters are running a mill. Difficult to transfer to a new position unless you know someone. Managers have no real experience only been at the company for 20+ years so they promote them to the next level.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmployees feel undervalued and marginalized. Recognize the talent right under your nose. The talent may not look exactly like you, but they're there.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
