I have been working at MetLife full-time for more than 7 years

Pros – Great work/life balance. Able to work from home during the week which helps alot. Good benefits, except for Vision. Lots of learning opportunities (webinars, seminars, clubs, etc.)

Cons – No growth unless you are a favorite. Internal recruiters are running a mill. Difficult to transfer to a new position unless you know someone. Managers have no real experience only been at the company for 20+ years so they promote them to the next level.

Advice to Senior Management – Employees feel undervalued and marginalized. Recognize the talent right under your nose. The talent may not look exactly like you, but they're there.
