Former Employee – worked at MetLife as an intern for less than a year

Pros – I got to meet a lot of actuarial students, had a lot of freedom and flexibility, and was respected. I got a bit of insight into the insurance industry,

Cons – I felt like I was only hired to make a quota and ended up spending much of my internship "finding things to do." This seemed to be okay with everyone, and probably the norm, but I wish I learned more.

Advice to Senior Management – Your intentions are well, but perhaps come up with a more in-depth program.
