I have been working at MetLife full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

- defined-contribution pension of 5% up to $113K; 10% thereafter - good severance package when/if they need to lay off - generous holiday schedule

Cons

- most project use offshore resources. This requires a lot of supervision - long development cycles - must coordinate with many group to get work done

Advice to Management

offshore has many hidden costs that are not accounted for

    very relaxing environment, not to strict on rules, nice friendly people, love the computer enviroment.

    Cons

    im a temp. there and i am not treated the same as the fulltime employees
