Good pay, but challenging to get things done

Information Systems Consultant (Current Employee) Alpharetta, GA

Pros- defined-contribution pension of 5% up to $113K; 10% thereafter
- good severance package when/if they need to lay off
- generous holiday schedule

Cons- most project use offshore resources. This requires a lot of supervision
- long development cycles
- must coordinate with many group to get work done

Advice to Senior Managementoffshore has many hidden costs that are not accounted for
