I have been working at MetLife full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. flexible working schedule,
    2. good product mix

    Cons

    1. local management team play a big role for the growth of the advisor. When I first got hired, my local management steal over $10K from me and many other advisor's in the firm.
    2. Company nowaday just focus on cooprate profit, not the growth of advisors. They charge high cost for advisors who worked there (over $300/week for my office). Of course they will never tell you that when they hire you.
    3. It's not based on how much sale, it's based on the relationship you have with management team, if you are close to the management, you get more support...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The new management came on board this year talkng about 3Ps for the company: profit, per rep production, product mix. Where is the people? It's all about profit for the company, care about your people then company will grow. MetLife is an insurance company, it's a business about caring... Management should think about this...
