Pros

Good work-life balance. Competitive, yet collaborative environment.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are unclear, due to low turnover / attrition rate. It's a good place to work with great benefits and a not too demanding schedule, so folks tend to stay leaving less opportunities for growth / advancement.

Advice to Management

Consider ways to continue to promote associate development and find ways to provide additional development opportunities to mid-level associates. There is a lot of angst and frustration amongst mid-level associates around how to further advance their careers.

    Pros

Benefits, food that was brought to keep us working long hours at our desk.

    Cons

Reorganizing structure. Was misclassified payed salary was not management, therefore was not payed overtime.

    Advice to Management

Instead of laying ARC Henderson, maybe you should of brought us back to AIU?! I applied AIU after laid off not even considered for interview.

  2. Helpful (1)

A good place to start, but career path is too linear and development opptys are limited.

    Pros

Family friendly you can tell that they do try, Excellent brand recognition and very good reputation. Good benefits

    Cons

Continuous state of Transition, "I think we are on strategy number what, 256!?!" Processes are growing/breeding more processes, leading to workload bottlenecks in underwriting. Sales targets/goals seem ever more unrealistic pressuring underwriting management to uncomfortable risk/pricing decisions.

    Advice to Management

New Business Assignment Deadlines need your attention!!! We cannot repeatedly add/alter process workflow changes which supposedly take 15-20 minutes and not revisit expectations for case assignment turnaround times on the front end. And for crying out-loud, "86" the Partnership Surveys or reduce their weighting at year end review.
