I worked at Metal Sales Manufacturing full-time

    Pros

The only Pro was there are a lot of good people that I have worked in lower manaement and below that I have had the pleasure to meet and form relationships.

    Cons

There is no consistant leadership and it starts with the owners, they see no value in time and service and everyone feels like they are on the firing list. Not many will retire I only no of two people in 50 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire yourself and leran the value of people.

I have been working at Metal Sales Manufacturing

    Pros

    Talented co-workers.401K, decent insurance.

    Cons

No training whatsoever. No standardized operations between branches. Each branch, its own fiefdom, reluctant to share anything. Eminent termination threat.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get in touch with your employees. Find out what they need to compete in their individual markets. Training, training, training, and then hang on to your people. Stop hiring outside individuals with no market, or product knowledge. Start hiring, and building from within.
