I worked at MetroHealth System full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Very good retirement plan. All of my co-workers were great to work with, no matter what department I was in. The doctors there are excellent.

The area where the main campus is located

    MetroHealth has many career advancement opportunities with a focus on hire within.
    Good benefit package
    Most of the staff are customer service oriented.
    fast pace environment

    Cons

    Depending on the deparment and job function, you may work more hours than you want.
    Communication between departments is poor.
    Due to many layoffs and cutbacks, employees are faced with doing more with less.

    Need to find a stable CEO that will stay with MetroHealth that will keep the vision of the Finanacial and Operations of the system consistant.
