senior management, impossible termination process, lack of follow through, do as i say not as i do policies

Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen more to the selling staff vs senior management because they are the eyes and ears of the store

I have been working at Michael Kors full-time

    Pros

    Great discount
Respect in the wholesale environment as business is growing.

    Cons

    MICROMANAGEMENT
    Redundant reporting
    Paper pushing
    HR is not a partner
No room for development and growth despite a major preach to develop everyone
    ZERO work life balance
Unless you live in NY, you are going no where
Email, email, email, don't call me
Everything you do has to be reported and put onto a form

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Open your eyes to your employees that are "driving your businesses". The busiest ones are getting the work done, not writing cheerleader emails to your glorified sales associates. DC's should not wear the hat of HR, Babysitter, Business Driver, Documenter, Trainer, Reporter, Analyzer. Why bother asking us what is/not working, when you aren't listening anyway.
