Pros

There is only a handful of good people there. Almost all of the competent ones have either been laid off or have jumped ship. Hopefully, you will encounter one or two of the few good ones that are left.

Cons

Working there has to be considered a sort term proposition, as the company has had combined loss ratios over 100% for the last four years. Layoffs have demoralized the remaining employees. Many have been reprimanded and written up recently, which is the harbinger of further layoffs and defections. Upper management is held in low regard, as it has done nothing to stem the loss of business or the high loss ratios.

Advice to Management

You are held in very low regard by what is left of your staff. Nor do they agents respect you, as you cannot be counted on to keep your word. You give every appearance of shrinking the company to a size that is no longer sustainable.

    Pros

Free parking and $1 bottles of pop from the vending machine

    Cons

Middle management employs the 'management by fear and intimidation' tactic when dealing with employees. Bullying and verbal abuse is not uncommon, nor is public ridicule. Management is very unprofessional and blatant favoritism is rampant. They are driving good employees out in the hopes of hiring people with less experience for lower wages.

  2. Management dominated - employee suppressed environment through fear and intimidation

    Pros

    Open and liberal work hours

    Cons

Lack managerial skills. Military tactics to "brow beat" employees to do additional work. Constant threat of laying off employees. Management bullied the agency force as well for additional business.

    Advice to Management

Do us all a favor and quit or retire.
