    Pros

Discount is prob one of the best thing about it. Even then you have jump through loop hole in order to use it. For example you have to have worked the day you want to buy something, and you can't use it during your shift. when you ask you ask to make a purchase before the store closes and you are working a closing shift you get nasty looks, and an attitude about it.

Hands down the best aspect of working at MC is the co-workers. You find some of the coolest most down to earth people you can ask for, and without them working at MC would be the worst experience I've had in my life, and probably the worst experience i will ever of had.

    Cons

This list is pretty much endless. Might as well throw the second half of the discount pro on here also. Management is the worst, they talk down to every one and make you feel like s***. They expect you be like robots and do everything perfect the way they want it, which is impossible because they don't tell you what they want. Only to come back and belittle you because it was done the way he/she wanted it, with little or no communication.

This job becomes your life, with the crazy hours you'd expect retail to have expect MC to makes two times crazier because of how incompetent the management is. Shifts ranging from 6AM-5PM / 12PM-11PM ( since you are on commission you only get 4.50/hr when the store is closed. Store opens and 9am and closes at 9pm ) Many co-workers had issues with management not giving them days off for school although the availability form was filled and turn into them. Also they will not give you a requested day off unless you gave them the time needed off at least three months ahead of time, problem with this is that there is only a schedule for only two weeks ahead of time, and even if you do that they don't "remember" so what most associates have done is just not shown up. Then at that point management tries to hit you with a no-call-no-show and results in a write up and final warning.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I am not sure how some of management made it of high school, they are completely illogical and don't know anything about anything that includes technology. They try to manage through fear and anger and but end up only get employees not to care and giving your self a high turn around rate. MY suggestion get managers that have been trained and aren't stupid, and that have modern management style, are logical, and also understand any job that a manage. If some one doesn't understand the under the jobs under them it is so difficult for this manager-worker relationship to work.
