    I worked at Microsemi

    Pros

Good benefits, macro managing, nice employees, lots of freedom. Mostly, as long as you get your work done and come to work, they won't ding you.

    Cons

Very difficult to have an issue brought up to management solved.
Poor planning by upper management turns into unreasonable workload on production floor.
Technical questions/ concerns often go unanswered.

Challenging everyday, but a future covered in uncertainty due to no strategic planning set forth.

I have been working at Microsemi

    Pros

The good aspect of working here is there is no shortage of challenges. Something new everyday, new requests from customers. And the compensation, currently is very fair.

    Cons

The downside would be the lack of fore site from management in regards to consistent work loads and (WIP) work going through the line- Work In Progress-

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would advise management (VP level) a 2 prong approach. 1st : Stop manipulating work flow to boost quarterly numbers and stick to a consistent plan and 2nd: Come up with a strategic plan to boost quarterly earnings via new sales and marketing.
