Good job, management needs to be improved yet.

Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) (Former Employee) Shanghai, Shanghai (China)

ProsIn Microsoft, one can always get to use the most up to date techniques, which is great for gaining useful experiences, and build up resume. As a matter of fact, one could use all Microsoft products for free, and therefore gaining experiences without have to buy them. The company also offer good benefit plan, good administrative aids. Free coke, pool and foosball. Free Xbox games. (But no free Age of Empire... )

ConsDespite the great company value and culture, inexperienced management could result in bad practices which make every one suffer. People get less freedom to do different jobs they would like to try.

Advice to Senior ManagementRespect the employee, recognize their contribution.

It is quite frustrating… More

Pros: The name of Microsoft on your CV is great to have. There is a supportive collegiate atmoshere where the employees help out each other without… Cons: Microsoft do not pay very well. It is a product-focused sales organisation (if you are in the Sales, Marketing and Services Group) when it should… Advice to Senior Management: take a longer term view and invest in people who are prepared… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
