I worked at Microsoft as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Some very smart people, a great name in technology and software and overall a good place to learn and gain experience.

    Cons

Since the early 2000's, the company has made a major shift away from being innovative and driven by technology. After being there through the 1990's then gone until 2008, I saw a huge difference in commitment and desire to be the best.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get people excited again and when you release a product, STICK TO IT.
