“Scale benefit”
Current Employee – been working at Microsoft for less than a year
Pros – Welfare is good. It also has 'benefit of scale'. I mean, if you change one feature or ship one new product, it has the chance of changing the lives of millions of people. That is what some small companies can't offer. They also have very rich resource for career development.
Cons – Typical problems of any super-big companies. Promotion opportunities are limited.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
