I have been working at Microsoft as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

This is a great company to work for. Their are a lot of opportunity if you want it. There is plrnty of food to eat around the area and the people you work with care about their jobs and great to work with. There are a lot of perks being a Microsoft employee

    Cons

The company is very large and you can easily fall in the cracks if you dont fight to stand out. Parking can be a nightmare depending on the building you work in. The company contracts way to many people instead of hiring people on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

One of the best in terms of perks, work environment and work resources. Gives independence to work on project and features.

    Cons

Slow growth in terms of promotions and pay. Politics and more of a show game that brings people to limelight. No honest meritocracy
