I have been working at Microsoft full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Microsoft is known all over the world, which makes a great resume builder for people willing to stay for 5 - 10 years. They offer fantastic benefits, good pay and lots of diverse job opportunities. Microsoft is a great place to build out some great skills for your resume.

    Cons

Microsoft has become a huge company with lots of internal strife and politics that often get in the way of productivity. The company is no longer innovative or agile, probably due to its size. Management does not value people or tenure.
