I worked at Microsoft as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

You meet brilliant and experienced people.

    Cons

I don't like the culture in Seattle/Redmond area; I'm European.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend less on social events or add diversity in the events. I'm not really into the American culture when going out. I don't like playing video games.

I have been working at Microsoft full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - So many teams => more career options
    - Health benefits. While it is changing, it is still one of the best in the market.
    - Prime card (gets you discount everywhere for restaurant, activities)
    - Microsoft cares about environment: carpool incentive program (TRIP), MS bus with wifi, etc.
    - Flexible work program: Microsoft support it, but unfortunately some teams (managers) are not that good with it.
    - Tuition reimbursement
    - My lists can go on and on

    Cons

While MS itself supports many good things, in the end it depends on your team and your manager and you HR.
