Colleagues are smart and able to offer insightful feedback.
The facilities are lovely and well-appointed.
Pay is generous; vacation time and benefits are more than adequate.

I have been working at Microsoft full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Easy to move around and work on different products, learn new skills, etc. Best health benefits I've heard of. Great work life balance - not many people are actually working more than 40 hours/week when it comes down to it.

    Cons

The company feels stagnant, the days of stock making millionaires is long gone. Not entrepreneurial at all, you are a number.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop chasing tail lights.
