I worked at Microsoft full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

So many talents, not much politics as seen in other big companies. Great benefits except no free lunch. Good work-life balance, engineers are supportive to each other.

    Cons

Company loses its competition for no renovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Microsoft

    Pros

Benefits, competitive salary, challenging work, rewarded (praise and bonus) for results, and chance to expand your mind with complex business challenges that are unique to very large software vendors.

    Cons

Like every company, internal politics can be a challenge. Often times, those who scorch the earth tend to advance their career faster. Have seen many under performers passed along to other teams versus cutting them loose.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
