I worked at Microsoft as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of cool, open co-workers. Even the mundane work has a feeling of privilege to it. Getting to hear company rumblings before they go public. Beautiful campus. Flexible hours. All the free drinks you can consume before exploding.

    Cons

(As a contractor) There's clearly a line between contractors and full-time employees that you're never allowed to forget. Work can be redundant and make you constantly look over your shoulder for that fateful day your boss (or most times your Rep) to tell you your last day there, sometimes it's even the same day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiding behind the recruitment agencies to do your dirty work and to be more open with Contractors
