    I worked at Microsoft

    Pros

    Free Sodas
Good medical benefits (but not for long)
    Decent pay

    Cons

    Too much politics
    No career advancement
Waste too much time managing up
    No longer a meritocracy
Company lacks vision after BillG's departure
    Run by "know all" engineers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get BillG back before you all ruin the company. It will be harder for you to attract talent if the stock price does not move.
