I have been working at Milestone Internet Marketing full-time (less than a year)

Pros

Great training and experience gained, a little too great. The knowledge that will be imparted to you at an entry level is great, you will come out of this job being an SEO expert.

Cons

The workload is way too much. The amount of accounts that must be juggled in a given week is ridiculous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No complaints on the leadership, my managers are friendly and helpful and do not micro-manage. To be honest, people only get micro-managed when they are underperforming, that is how I feel at least. Do great, and nobody will be on your back.

I worked at Milestone Internet Marketing

    Pros

learning opportunities, focus on innovation and implementation of new ideas, advancement opportunities, ability to drive projects and implement processes

    Cons

work life balance ( load is difficult to mangage) not all people are able to do 1,000 things at 110%, upper management not starting meetings on time,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is making good efforts to streamline processes, implement best practices, and grow their employees. However, they have a long way to being that this is a small start up the job duties seem tedious and should be broken up amongst different functional dept that need to be created. Even though they are hiring more people there should be different roles created to focus on certain duties

The leadership team adviced their employees not to review the company on glassdoor unless it was a positive review b/c writing a negative review meant that the person was a negative and unhappy person who was not going to succeed in life.Since management is monotoring this site to ensure that 3 positiive reviews are posted for every neg. review, I would like to offer some feedback: We live in a world today where we are able to review businesses with other consumers, communities, etc., freely and review sites have become common grounds for other consumers to share information about thier experiences. Reviewing businesses is a part of our online culture. This venue is a way that consumers or employees get their voice heard to their online community, and hopefully affect change in someway from the business that is reading their reviews with an open mind to constructive criticism. My review went from a 3 to a 2 b/c for Milestone to persuade thier employees to only come to them and not review sites means they think we are stupid and dont understand that they are tyring to moderate their reviews

The positive reviews that were posted after the neg ones for this company are obviously biased and seem to be posted by management because it is not realistic to for an employee not to have any advice to management and not to post any cons. It is unfortunate that management was not able to welcome a review as we encourage our client's to check & manage their own businesses on the many review sites this seems contradictory. The message sent to employees seemed threatening and was precieved as management trying to moderate this review site. Management adviced us to come to them with our feedback, which is great , but they also need to understand that people review businesses even if they have allready spoken to maangement about it, and there are people that enjoy their free right to review businesses and share experiences online. Some people would just rather review online then speak to management and that doesnt make them a bad person. Again as consumers we review everything we do on the internet and management should be aware of this and accept that feedback is a learning/growth opportunity and not try to stop it/keep it internal and away from the public. Review sites are here to stay and businesses need to accept them and should not make it uncomfortable for thier employees to feel like their freedom to review is wrong.

I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Milestone family and look forward to growing within the company and continuing in a great learning environment.
