I have been working at Milken Institute full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

No leadership; no strategic vision. This means that you can have lots of extra time to develop your own skills (if you can do this by yourself).

    Cons

The company presents itself as a research think tank but currently there are no senior research staff who are knowledgeable, trained researchers, so there is no one there who can judge about the quality of research. Given there are no intellectual work, people usually stay for a couple of years. Sadly, the leader does not see this is the problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to have a new leader with a strategic vision, value employees, and understand the importance of having good work environment. Don't present that the company has the mission is to improve human capital but do treat their own employees poorly. Code of Ethics is a must (currently there is none).

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
