I have been working at Millennial Media

Pros

Great business. Good work culture. Management is very visible and involved. Really seems like everyone is on the same team.

Cons

Horrible benefits for a company of it's size. No 401k matching. Limited number of vacation days. Health care benefits could be better.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

In the competitive market of technology companies benefits are sometimes the only thing keeping people at a company. If management wants to retain employees they need to expand their benefits greatly.

    I have been working at Millennial Media full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Very technology focused and they work to keep employees happy. Unlimited leave policy. Bonuses and stock options. Competitive salaries. Worked on leading edge technologies.

    Cons

    Worked there 2 years and had 4 managers. They seem to change the Tech leadership pretty often, and hence, the planning sometimes went out the window. Several abandoned projects while I was there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    When you lose people at a pretty rapid rate you should probably start looking at why they are leaving and try to address it.
