An ok place to stat out working at to get an idea of what to expect in the industry.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsMost of the employees are very friendly and down to earth, they give employees free coffee and teas and the office is pretty nice. There are a lot of training's and seminars where you receive ongoing information about the industry.

ConsLong hours, dealing with clients who don't respect the people who do this job for them (like at any company I'm sure). Not enough time off or pay to compensate for the work load and stress, unless you transfer in from another agency.

Advice to Senior ManagementRealize that no one persons time is more valuable than anyone else, and that everyone has family and friends they would like to spend more time with no matter if you are at the bottom of the chain or the highest in the company. It does take hard work and dedication to get to the top but that flexibility with each employees work style differs and offering lap tops to take home or non-strict hours creates happier employees. Not everyone is programmed to work in a cube from 9-6pm, and that better work could be done with a better work/life balance. Examples: work from home days offered to ALL employees, a four day work week or every other Friday off (done at some agencies around the US,) summer hours....basically anything more just to help relieve long days where hours are wasted daily on "lunches" and "meetings." This puts off real work needed to be done, and traps everyone in the office until 7-8-9pm.
