Good place to learn as there is a BIG staff shortage.
Cons
Mindspeed is stuck in the same rut for over 5 years now with no prospect of change for the better. Revenue is declining and it may not last through the downturn. Mindspeed's management is incompetent. The CEO has few ideas and has little vision to take the company forward. Most good engineers and managers have left. For employees, the company offers an unrewarding atmosphere to work in. There is too much politics for a small company.
Advice to Senior Management
Get your act together and start making some money already.
