Pros

There are many competent engineers who work at Mindspeed. Many of them have been with the company for a long time, before it spun out of Conexant and Rockwell. It is a very interesting working environment from a technical point of view.

Cons

Upper management is completely incompetent, and they are only interested in making as much money for themselves as possible while taking advantage of the "worker bees". There is a tradition of abusive micro-management driven directly from the top, which prevents all senior, middle and lower managers from doing their job properly.

Advice to Senior Management

Find a way to get the board of directors to fire the CEO. As long as he is in that position, the company will continue to fail.
