I worked at Miovision Technologies

Pros

Worked with lots of great and interesting people. Since it was a small company, there were many opportunities to try new things.

Cons

Since the company did not have established roots, there were not many career advancement opportunities for those who were not computer engineers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep treating employees with respect & dignity.

    Pros

Lockere Kleiderordnung, viel Verantwortung, Bandbreite von Aufgaben, frischer Kaffee

Informal dress code, lots of responsibility, variety of tasks, free coffee

    Cons

Sadly, it is not the place for anyone to make a career, no matter how talented you are.

Top management lacks integrity and general common sense. Senior managers are unprofessional and very inexperienced, and it shows.

Chaos reigns. There are few processes and those that exist are very often ignored.

Hard work is neither respected nor rewarded. Hours are very long and salaries are pitiful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Schafft Transparenz und Vertrauen auf allen Ebenen der Firma. Nur so kann sie überleben.

Create transparency and trust throughout all levels of the company. This is the only way to survive.

I have been working at Miovision Technologies full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Miovision has a great culture, everyone is getting their work done without being put under a microscope and monitored each day. Co-workers seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and are happy to help each other. Good benefits and flexible schedule to allow for ease of going to appointments and catering to family needs.

    Cons

Some co-workers work longer hours and complain about work-life balance, but that has decreased over time as they on board more strategic roles and new hires that fill in those gaps. There is little transparency into salary bands. Initial training was sink or swim, but that seems to work for most positions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to offer perks and incentives - flexible benefits and health and wellness credits have been good additions. Be aware of how fast the company is growing and if that is changing the culture.
