Former Employee – worked at Mission Critical Wireless
Pros – Good health (medical, vision, dental) insurance package, convenient location in Lincolnshire/Chicago suburbs, free coffee and tea. You will have some great, friendly coworkers. This is a smaller company so you will get to know every one.
Cons – Not competitve compensation and PTO is very low. There is no system for evaluation; the company is still developing and is trying to adopt corporate procedures. There is a very high turnover here because upper management does not value their employees or is even aware of what goes on under their noses. Compensation is low for the industry, and there is overall low employee morale. People leave as soon as they find better jobs.
No 401K or retirement plan.
Inflexibility; difficult to request time off.
Advice to Senior Management – Oversight and training of management while valuing employee contribution is direly needed. Upper management needs to be more aware of the roles and responsibilities of all employees in the company.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
