I have been working at MobileOne

Pros

It is a pro family environment with sufficient worklife balance. Thus, the staff turnover rate tends to be quite low and stable. There is also adequate job security even in such uncertain times.

The workload is managable. There is significantly less office politics as compared to the other companies in the same industry.

Cons

The company seems to have many low level ranks and promotion being typically slow. As such, young and ambitious individuals would find that career progression is slow due to the many layers of hierarchy in the company.

The basic compensation package together with the bonus payouts are lower as compared to industry norms as well.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Disbursement of increments and bonuses should be more performance-based, as with promotions.

    1. Less reorganisation as compared to my previous employment

    Cons

    1. There is little career advancement
    2. Employee Benefits have shrunk over the years
    3. Miserable increment
    4. Management are clueless and HR does not bother to care for employees
    4. Market follower, lack of innovation. I guess this point speaks the reason of the above

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Be innovative
    2. Shake the management and replace top people with capabilities to lead.
    3. CEO, please be high profile. Show your face more often in front of staff.
