I worked at Moe's Southwest Grill part-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Paid bills and free food

Cons

No longer free food plus the pay versus amout of work done was not very fair, but what more can you do....its fast food.

I worked at Moe's Southwest Grill part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I made 8.50 an hour as a crew member, when I was making less as a manager elsewhere.
Work was easy* it didn't take a lot of mental acuity to perform tasks.
    Fairly friendly managers and coworkers.

---I had a bad experience because the store I worked for was disgusting. That doesn't mean all the stores suck. I recommend finding a store that's not struggling to pass health inspections, and you'll probably be fine.---

    Cons

*Work was physically draining and though tasks weren't difficult, there were a lot of them.
The manager that interviewed me and hired me quit before I started working.
This is not a job for someone with a high work ethic like me. Managers will exploit you. I had to do the bulk of the work because the managers knew I would.
The building I worked for had barely been passing its health inspections, and it showed. The place was disgusting. No one else cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis and there was an ungodly amount of nastiness buildup everywhere. I actually saw cockroaches in the bathrooms once, and the managers just brushed it off, saying "That happens sometimes." That was where I drew the line.
The managers were not willing to factor in my school and other job's schedule to their schedule.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look around your store and fix problems that you can see.
    Ask for employee feedback.
Make sure you aren't exploiting your employees. Compensate someone if you can see that they're working harder than the others.
If an employee doesn't listen to a single thing you say and just stands around all day complaining, FIRE THEM. Otherwise you're wasting your money paying them.
If your establishment is constantly filthy, you're going to lose customers over time, and people aren't going to want to work for you, because they wont want to do all that extra work.
