Pros

Well established global manufacturer with success in the connector market. Acquisitions in similar products and markets have benefitted them. Now suffering from large-companyitus with no clear long term direction except to make sure the quarterly report looks good to the shareholders. Like all large cos, good benefits but the performing employee is lost in the mayhem.

Cons

Recently (last 2 years) made their largest acquisition yet, trying to reach out to the electrical distribution marketplace. Arrogance and shortsightedness has not allowed them to implement the correct strategy, and competion now eating their lunch.

Advice to Senior Management

Your business has become diversified, don't manage it like you did in years past. You need a long term vision.
