Pros

Local management support with good ideas.

Cons

Corporate office completely out of touch with local offices. Tremendous lack of communication and follow-through, especially when implementing new processes.

    Pros

    Family-like business. Everyone takes pride in their work. Work from home capability is wonderful and staff is treated with respect

    Cons

    too much work, and not enough staff or time. Hiring more staff would be a step in the right direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management could hire more staff with experience. Although the work from home option is incredible, the dispersed staff makes thing sdifficult at times.

    Pros

    some good coworkers. my job is interesting.

    Cons

    Very 'corporate' driven, doesn't feel like there is a lot of decision making left up to the healthplans. Lots of extra work filling out forms for everything. Difficult to work with corporate staff. Feels like the senior management make us do a lot of reports and extra work for no reason other than they want to know something that doesn't pertain to the decision they are being asked to make.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire people at corporate that actually have customer service skills so they stop treating employees at the health plans like they are the enemy. They are often rude and downright meanspirited. It is very frustrating to deal with many of them.
