Pros

There is a flexible vacation schedule. The salary isn't bad when compared to similar positions. They are willing to hire without having previous experience.

Cons

Overall it is a very young company with a small chance of being promoted. Favorites are played at most every position.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would start by making every employee feel valued and recognise the work that everyone puts into their day to day.

Seems good until you actually work there.

I have been working at Momentive

    Pros

Salary can be good depending on the position. Company offers use of corporate tickets to some sport and concert events. A good place to gain some experience since you will be thrown into your position and then leave for a better job and not feel bad.

    Cons

Some of the people are wonderful to work with and for, but, there are many more who will lie, cheat, backstab, throw you under the bus if you aren't looking. Managers hold opportunities over direct reports like dangling carrots but rarely actually make them available. The company seems family friendly until you are forced to work 50 and 60 hour weeks with no over time pay or recognition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers need to lead by example. Managers need to pay attention to direct reports and offer praise when due. Managers should base reviews more on actual performance versus ass kissing.
