    Pros

Mondelez was a fun place to work in that they planned a lot of cool events for the interns. The company store had a pretty good selection but was only good to buy gum and candy, the crackers and cookies are $3 which is the same as grocery stores. The Eagle building was recently redone so it's very nice, but the Tech building could use some renovations.

    Cons

The intern program was clearly not well thought out. Interns were over-recruited and when it came to assigning positions the company scrambled at the last minute to find managers and assign projects. Some people were fortunate to get put into good groups, but for those who got assigned later you had no chance of getting a full time hire because of the department you were put in. I was in a unique position because my manager and team were in the global headquarters in Chicago, but I was working in New Jersey. While a lot of companies have remote reporting positions as an intern I found it very difficult to get the guidance I needed to do my work, as well as make connections in the office I was working in.

    Advice to Management

Look for managers and projects BEFORE hiring interns! Also invest in renovating the Tech building - putting half your employees in a beautiful office and the other half in a dump isn't very fair. Unless you're trying to make the others in the old office feel like you don't value them (if that's the goal, you're doing a great job).
