Lovely people to work with Decent work life balance

Cons

In dire need of strong marketing to strengthen its brand Oblivious that social media is eating away at its revenue Morale at a all time low

Advice to Management

Devise comprehensive global marketing campaigns in ALL regions. Customise marketing to suit the local audience Invest...Invest...Invest...in core products GLOBALLY

    I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time

    Pros

    Incredible opportunities to co-operate with a truly high class international sales team. Potentially the best product suite in human resources globally. Hard working, committed and talented "shop floor" staff who will jump through hoops to help. Monster. It's STILL Monster and it's still a fantastic experience to go through.

    Cons

    Too much pressure and dwindling moral - its that sick feeling in your stomach type. A culture of hiding the truth and not being allowed to flag critical business issues. Apparent lack of caring about what we ACTUALLY deliver to our clients. Lack of accountability with anyone else other than sales. Too much of a blame culture and it's always sales that are failing. The right deal for the client isn't always pushed through if it's not the right deal for the individual rep or country. That is fundamentally wrong. Work life balance may be good for field sales reps but it's disgraceful for anyone responsible for delivering overall results. Country Managers, GM's, SD,s, individual country marketing, business ops, order admin are all pushed to within an inch of falling over.

    Advice to Management

    Do not close your ears and your eyes when there are flags that there are serious issues with decision making. Follow your own rules and market the opportunity.
