I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Monster is a very busy work from home environment which made working alone not so lonely. The working environment allows employees to be as creative as possible and take on different challenges every day. The people who work there are kind, welcoming, smart and friendly. They all have similar goals and passions, which makes working as team easy.

Cons

High turn over and down sizing has led to difficulties in account knowledge transfer and process training. Internal systems are difficult and hard to navigate. Very complex process structure.

I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Good salary (if you get it) compared to similar jobs in the location. There are quite a few nice people, the benefits are good and the library is a nice initiative..

    Cons

Management is best to be described as children playing office, with no idea that being a manager is more than just someone who gets to boss others around. Do not expect proper guidance, understanding for personal views or any empathy that isn't dictated through some chart or schedule.. Do not get sick, unless you can afford not to get paid. Being in the hospital is no excuse.

Furthermore it would be nice if people got promotions because they are good at what they do, not through sucking up. Disagreeing with management is signing your professional death warrant within this company.

Be prepared to leave your integrity and self respect behind when you relocate for this job, preferably your personality as well if you wish to be a rat in the rat-race. I did not, so I quit. Best choice I made this year so far.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep your ego's in check and consider that criticism might be correct, not something to discard. Also, trashing your employees through social media and/or gossip is highly unprofessional and a bad example. If you consider yourself to be above others, then act like it.
